Who we are

Memento Trading Co. is a two-person operation in Perth, Western Australia, dealing in vintage Japanese Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh trading cards. By placing an order you agree to the terms set out here.

Prices and payment

All prices are in Australian dollars. Payment is taken in full at checkout. Postage is charged separately and is shown before you pay.

Free postage is built into our rates rather than offered as a code. Australian orders of $200 or more are sent tracked and insured at no charge, and Australian orders of $500 or more will be sent express at no charge. Orders to New Zealand, Singapore and Hong Kong of $300 or more are sent tracked and insured at no charge.

Discount codes apply to the price of the cards, not to postage. Because postage is calculated on the discounted total, a code that brings your order below a free-postage threshold will mean postage is charged. The checkout always shows the final figure before you pay.

Single-copy stock

Almost every listing is a unique card with a quantity of one. Once it sells it is gone. Where we later acquire the same card it is listed afresh, with its own photographs, because no two raw vintage cards are alike.

Condition

Condition is described in good faith and shown in the photographs on every listing. We are not a grading company and we make no claim to be. Where our wording and our photographs appear to disagree, trust the photographs.

Authenticity

Every card is guaranteed genuine. Cards are sourced, checked and photographed by us before listing.

Accepting an order

An order confirmation is an acknowledgement, not an acceptance. We may cancel and refund an order in full where a card has been damaged, mislisted, priced in error, or already sold. This happens rarely, and we will always tell you why.

Delivery

We post to Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Hong Kong. Two postage services are offered at checkout — tracked and insured, and express — and express is an Australian service only. Every parcel we send is tracked and insured for the full value of the order, whatever the order is worth and whatever it cost to post. Full detail is in our shipping policy.

Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh are trademarks of their respective owners. Memento Trading Co. is an independent reseller of genuine second-hand cards and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of those companies.
